HUMANIZE OUR WALLET DESIGN FOR MASS-ADOPTION

Conversational Wallet Design.

It's time that we seamlessly onboarding our non-technical family and friends using digital storytelling and interactive content design.

Make cryptocurrency wallets ready for family and friends.

Add story-structures that guide people. Our wallet interface design misses story-structure and does not tailor to our ever decreasing attention span. Our current social platforms tailor to setup, and conflicts, but don't offer resolution. Keeping us is a state of frustration.

If we want to move the crypto space from speculation to real use-cases, we need to remediate our static pages into engaging conversations.

Transition from attention farming to interactive content. Social Design Academy developed Conversational Interaction Design; a novel screen-first interactive content design approach for new educational and conversational platforms. Learn to design conversations that makes onboarding, learning, unlearning/relearning as natural as real-life conversations.

Wallets as access-point to the Internet of Value(s). Conversational Wallets not only make interactions pleasant and natural, interactive content design allow you to make your knowledge actionable, and has the potential to bring our decision making into our digital networks.

Funded Design Research showed
We transposed 10 blockchain pattern into interactive conversations, and invite you to join our effort to co-build an Interactive Content Toolkit that pushes and nudging people into positive action.

Making information actionable is our next-frontier, because our static data-models are getting old.
Create new meaningful business models based on interactive content, and become blockchain ready in the process.

Top 5
Cryptocurrency Wallet issues.

1. Wallets separate utility, education, and hospitality, blocking mass-adoption of non-technical family and friends.

2. Focus on transactions, but don't deliver on interaction between users/entities, blocking the path towards social finance.

3. Cannot easily re-engage with users, resulting anxiety and nervousness in users.

4. Miss story-structure and don't tailor to individual experience levels; Resulting in knowledge assumptions that create trust gaps.

5. Focus on functionality for the virtual space, but don't provide experiences and engagements that make cryptocurrency actionable in our real-world.

Finding;
Our current utility focused wallets delivery incomplete experiences to reach mass-adoption, making our current wallets unfit for non-technical family and friends.

By giving live-classes around interactive content design for digital wallets, we aim to bridge web2 and web3.

By focusing on cryptocurrency wallets design patterns and self-development content like 36 questions of self-understanding we found a great mix, to learn about yourself, interactive content and web3.

This approach brings a sense of human connection and understanding to our wallets design, making them more accessible and user-friendly for loved ones.

THIS DESIGN RESEARCH WAS SPONSORED BY CARDANO PROJECT CATALYST

The In-wallet onboarding for ADA-holders project which resulted in the foundation for the Conversational Interaction Design program was funded by Cardano Project Catalyst.

Social Design Academy promotes the creation of conversational wallet software that benefits society as a whole. As most cryptocurrency wallet design is still using linear flows, and are only tailored to transactional use cases.

It’s time that we design wallet software that prepares for bringing novel decision-making tools in our digital networks, and rethink the role our digital wallets will play in a future we all deserve.

Join our quest in building an Interactive Content Toolkit and build the foundation for the next-generation of learning systems together.

Five study area’s

Design Principles for your Wallet Project
Design principles are like a compass for your project, guiding your team in the right direction and providing a clear vision for your work.

They help to define the boundaries of your thought process, and serve as a solid foundation for the decisions you make as a team. Without design principles, your decision making can easily be influenced by personal bias and opinions, leaving your project vulnerable to inconsistency and instability.

By defining your design principles upfront, you ensure that your team stays focused and aligned, ultimately leading to more successful outcomes.

Hippo (highest paid person's opinion) is a term used to refer to the tendency for decisions to be made based on the opinion of the person with the most authority or highest salary, rather than on the basis of objective evidence or expertise.
Even Energy Distribution
Our linear mindset often leads us to focus mainly on the design of the "during" stage of our wallet applications, neglecting the important "before" and "after" stages. This imbalance can create anxiety and nervousness in users. Conversational Experience Design seeks to distribute energy evenly throughout all stages, resulting in a pleasant, friendly, and engaging conversation that users will love.
Story Structures & Conversational Wallet Design
Expectation management is often overlooked in software design. Instead of simply telling your audience what to do, why not engage them by asking questions and guiding them through the experience? This approach can help to create a more personalized and enjoyable experience for your users. By taking the time to understand where they are and what they need, you can help to manage their expectations and make their journey smoother and more enjoyable.
Proof of Interaction & Conversational UI Toolkit
Data standardization is critical to be able to compare and evaluate. Conversational Experience Design takes this into account by using standardized UX KPI's to ensure that research is incorporated into your conversational scripts. This allows you to make more informed decisions and improve the overall user experience. By adopting a Conversational UI Toolkit, you can better understand and address the unique needs of your audiences, and improve the effectiveness and production speed of your conversational experiences.
Fair Data-Governance
Our data governance is flawed because we force users to comply and be complicit in our web2 domain. We need to design with data in motion to make a positive impact on our world. This means keeping data in context and always asking for actors' consent. By designing with data using conversational UI's, we can create a more ethical and sustainable digital environment that respects the rights and preferences of all users.
