Our apps are the same on the couch as is the store. Why don't we design for time, location and context? We design transaction, but no interactions. We design for the individual, but not for the collective. It's time to move past conveyor belt thinking (Technology → Product → Marketing), and unsilo our talent, and design with meaning.
Human Centered Design polarizes people into groups
User / human centered design is great in our real-world, in our digital realms it separates people into groups, creates tribes and polarizes people. We need to make people part of the network, not the center of everything.
Remediate page-based design into manual conversation design
Language turns emotions into actions. Knowledge acted upon is power. Mindful use of language changes energy, can motivate, can uplift. Language transfers energy, so if we want to innovate our content formats and delivery systems, we have the level up our design practises from pages to conversations.
Unfair Data-governance in the 21st century
We design our interactions between business and people, we design our timelines, and swipe interfaces like slot-machines. It's time to make people and organisations part of the network, so we can move towards digital deliberation using data in motion and proof of interaction as guiding principles.
Broken mutable data systems are becoming a control mechanism
We rule with data, we control with data, we influence with data, we hypnotise with data. Attention farming is the name of the game, maximum eyeball time for advertising purposes. Mutable data-systems started as a benefit over hardcopy print, and now 30 years later it is biting us in the derriere.
We haven't found a way to streamline societies energy
The separation of principles, value and money is the root cause of social decline. By entangling our principles, value(s) and incentives across blockchain we can finally unlock our greatest potential.
Our linear design methods are outdated.
We never learned to make our information actionable over time, and our this is in essence what blockchain is about. By combining his obsession to calculate with words, and by understanding that mutable digital data IS the problem, he invented a novel social action method, that's allows us to move into the decentralized space with confidence.

Social Design Academy
